Issaquah Transit Center
The Issaquah Transit Center comprises a 270,000 square-foot, 4-story cast-in-place post-tensioned concrete parking structure, with steel and glass transit islands. The parking structure was built on an auger-cast concrete pile foundation system.
Architectural features include a Green Screen exterior on two sides which allows for climbing vegetation to grow through it, commissioned artwork, and IPE (Brazilian hardwood) features on one side.
Extensive landscaping and new wetlands were also a part of this project
