Congratulations are due to the entire Harbor Pacific Contractors Team for outstanding safety performance for the 2023 year. Labor hours for 2023 a little more than doubled 2022 with growth in number of employees and projects. All that hard work was completed with ZERO recordable injuries or medical aid clinic visits.
Results like these only happen with outstanding planning, preparation, and vigilant situational awareness of all the team members while completing the work. The entire team has done a great job keeping themselves, as well as coworkers, subcontractors, and the public out of harm’s way.
These results of zero injuries are exceptional, especially when compared to our competitors. Industry average rates are that for every 100 employees working a full year, have resulted in 2.5 people suffering recordable injuries and 1.6 people with injuries that result in lost time away from work or restricted duty while they recover.
Let us all continue this path of excellence together while having each other’s backs, safely being productive, and creating quality work products that will continue to help us all thrive and be successful.
